This was an exceptional property. The room was gorgeous and the AC was as good as any hotel we have stayed at in Europe. The internet signal was strong. The room was very quiet, and beds very comfortable. Our room looked down on a small canal where you could watch the gondolas travel. We were off the beaten path but merely 5 minutes from the Piazza San Marco. The breakfast was included and was very generous with lots of choices and food staff very friendly. The staff was fantastic, and helped us with private water taxis which will take you from the train station and back. The water taxis will drop you off at the hotels private entrance on the canal. A neat way to enter Venice. No hustle or bustle. Do yourself a favor and take the water taxi (80 to 89 Euros, each way). You do not want to drag your bags from a vaporatto stop in Piazza San Marco through crowded streets and over the many little bridges. We will be back. This is a real gem of a hotel. It may be 4 star rated, but we would give it a 5 stars.

The location was excellent to St Mark’s Square, Rialto Bridge, vaporetto’s and restaurants/shopping. Room was very spacious and comfortable to share with our elderly mother on the couch/bed. Bathroom very large. Breakfast was fresh and delicious with many offerings, very relaxing and sophisticated. Wait staff was excellent as well as desk staff, shout out to Mateo in particular. So nice they had a wheelchair for my mother to use, elevator and umbrellas for the rain. Our room had several windows (#312) also in bathroom, city view. Loved the shutters and curtains to block light and windows did a good job sound proofing as well. Bedding linens were very fine. Had a great ride to Murano with their private water taxi and tour of glass blowing factory. Too expensive for us to buy anything but throughly enjoyed the tour and stayed on the island to look around then took vaporetto back to Venice.

Location is central to St. Marks Square. High end shopping nearby (so it’s a nice area). Hotel was incredibly accommodating in parking, taxis, helping secure dinner reservations. We could not have asked for a better guest experience. You can take a water taxi right to the front entrance if you like. Venice is old, so the building is old as well. It has an incredible architecture and decor. We got a room facing a canal and it was lovely to see the gondoliers float by. We did make the request to have that type of room if possible. Breakfast was included and had a great selection and prompt service. 24 hour reception. You leave your hotel room key at the front so you can’t lose it and someone is always there to escort you in. The staff did an excellent job at making our stay exceptional.

The location is super convenient to shopping, San Marco and La Fenice. Many excellent restaurants short walk. Water taxi brings you right to their dock from Plaza Roma. Bedrooms have comfortable beds, flat screen TV and programs available in English as well as other languages. Bathrooms are modern with big showers. MiniBar is available too. Multiple outlets for charging devices. Breakfast is excellent - dozens of items to chose from and multiple choices for juice and coffees. The staff is friendly and helpful. Finally, an excellent value for Venice.

Perfect location close to all of the major sites but tucked into a quiet side street. Our room overlooked a narrow canal with Gondola's passing almost continuously throughout the day and evening. Definitely would recommend asking for a room with this view as it added so much to the atmosphere hearing the singers and musicians as the gondolas crept by.
